CogNet: Bridging Linguistic Knowledge, World Knowledge and Commonsense Knowledge
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this paper, we present CogNet, a knowledge base (KB) dedicated to integrating three types of knowledge: (1) linguistic from FrameNet, which schematically describes situations, objects and events. (2) world YAGO, Freebase, DBpedia Wikidata, provides explicit about specific instances. (3) commonsense ConceptNet, implicit general facts. To model these different consistently, introduce three-level unified frame-styled representation architecture. integrate free-form with other structured knowledge, propose strategy that combines automated labeling crowdsourced annotation. At present, CogNet integrates 1,000+ semantic frames KBs, 20,000,000+ frame instances as well 90,000+ assertions KBs. All data can be easily queried explored on our online platform, free download in RDF format for utilization under CC-BY-SA 4.0 license. The demo are available at http://cognet.top/.

15 صفحه اولExtracting World and Linguistic Knowledge from Wikipedia
Many research efforts have been devoted to develop robust statistical modeling techniques for many NLP tasks. Our field is now moving towards more complex tasks (e.g. RTE, QA), which require to complement these methods with a semantically rich representation based on world and linguistic knowledge (i.e. annotated linguistic data). In this tutorial we show several approaches to extract this know...
متن کاملCommonsense Knowledge Representation I
Significant advances in artificial intelligence, including machines that play master level chess, or make medical diagnoses, highlight an intriguing paradox. While systems can compete with highly qualified experts in many fields, there has been much less progress in constructing machines that exhibit simple commonsense, the kind expected of any normally intelligent child. As a result, commonsen...
متن کاملCommonsense Knowledge Representation II
Early attempts to implement systems that understand commonsense knowledge did so for very restricted domains. For example, the Planes system [Waltz, 1978] knew real world facts about a fleet of airplanes and could answer questions about them put to it in English. It had, however, no behaviors, could not interpret the facts, draw inferences from them or solve problems, other than those that have...
متن کاملCommonsense Knowledge Base Completion
We enrich a curated resource of commonsense knowledge by formulating the problem as one of knowledge base completion (KBC). Most work in KBC focuses on knowledge bases like Freebase that relate entities drawn from a fixed set. However, the tuples in ConceptNet (Speer and Havasi, 2012) define relations between an unbounded set of phrases. We develop neural network models for scoring tuples on ar...
